Police seek information, wounding investigation in , QLD

Wynnum detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted and stabbed in Tingalpa this afternoon (October 19).

Preliminary information indicates a 23-year-old Brisbane man was walking down Ranch Street with friends at around 12.30pm when a small sedan stopped.

Three male occupants exited the vehicle and during a brief altercation with the 23-year-old he sustained two stab wounds to his torso area, before the trio retreated to the vehicle and drove off.

The man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them, or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV to come forward.

Police believe the incident may have been targeted and there is no threat to the public.
