Police seek public assistance after dog stolen from Mickleham

Police are appealing for public assistance after a dog was stolen from a property in Mickleham last week.

It is understood a woman took the dog, Buster, from the front yard of a property on Dight Way about 8am on Tuesday, 10 January.

Investigators were told she placed him into a black station wagon then fled the scene in the vehicle.

Police have released an image of Buster, a grey Staffordshire Bull Terrier, in the hope that someone has information on his whereabouts.

They have also released an image of the vehicle believed to be involved in the incident.
