Police seek public assistance after Doreen crash

Greensborough Highway Patrol members are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a serious car crash in Doreen on 6 July.

Investigators believe a black 2007 Nissan Navara was travelling west on Arthurs Creek Road between Middle Hut Road and Yan Yean Road about 11.56am when it came off the road.

The vehicle made heavy contact with a tree and crashed through two fences before coming to rest in a paddock.

A 49-year-old Doreen man, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was flown to hospital in a critical condition.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or has dash camera footage of a black 2007 Nissan Navara on Arthurs Creek Road Doreen or within the area around the time of the incident.
