Police seek public assistance – Armed robbery in Underwood, QLD

Police are seeking public assistance to help identify two people who may be able to assist with investigations into an armed robbery in Underwood on Sunday (September 26).

Around 1.10pm a man and woman approached a parked car on Springvale Circuit, Underwood, and demanded the female driver exit the vehicle.

The man then produced a knife before the woman pulled the 41-year-old woman from the car and robbed her of her vehicle keys which resulted in the female victim receiving multiple knife wounds. The man and woman then entered the vehicle, however, were unable to start the car.

They ran from the scene a short time later in possession of the car keys.

During the incident the female driver sustained non-life threatening slash wounds to her hands.

The man is Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall, athletic build with short brown hair and was wearing blue shorts.

The woman is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cm tall, long bleach blonde hair carrying a duffel bag wearing black sunglasses, a white coloured dress and light blue denim jacket.

Detectives are seeking assistance to help identify the man and woman in the images and vision below. Police are also seeking anyone with dash cam vision who was driving along Kingston Road, Parramatta Road or Moss Street between 1pm and 2pm to contact police.

The man attempted to wave down a distinctive green Mini hatch on Moss Street after the initial incident. Detectives are urging the driver of that vehicle to contact police with any information they may have.
