Police seek public assistance to locate motorcycle river in George Town

George Town Police are seeking public assistance as part of an ongoing investigation into an incident early last Monday.

Around 5.30am on 18 October 2021, a motorcycle was observed to travel on the incorrect side of the road at the roundabout at Macquarie Street, Goulburn Street and East Tamar Highway at George Town.

At the time, a white dual cab utility was entering the roundabout and was forced to take action to avoid a collision.

Police would like to speak to the utility driver and motorcycle rider.
