Police seek supermarket fire witnesses

The investigation into a massive blaze at a Stirling supermarket is ongoing and police are seeking any further information from the local community. The public can speak to officers in person at the scene of the fire from Thursday to Sunday this week.

Two teenagers were charged with arson and will face court at the end of the year.

The fire occurred just after 2pm on Sunday 15 October at the supermarket complex on Mount Barker Road, Stirling.

The supermarket was open at the time, however, everyone was safely evacuated and there were no reports of any injuries.

Multiple businesses sustained significant Impact as a result of the fire.

Police will be outside the Stirling Woolworths Shopping Centre from 10am to 6pm on Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 October and urge anyone who was in the area around the time of the fire to come forward and to assist the investigation.
