Police seek witnesses after motorcyclist seriously injured in Hills

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle rider was seriously injured following a crash in Sydney’s north west today.

Just after 9am (Sunday 13 June 2021), emergency services responded to the intersection of Bellcast Road and Sanctuary Drive, Beaumont Hills, after reports a Toyota Rav4 and a BMW motorcycle had collided.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command attended and found the rider, a 48-year-old man, seriously injured.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment of suspected spinal injuries.

The Toyota driver, a 50-year-old woman, was spoken to and is assisting police.

An investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
