Northern Territory Police are appealing for witnesses following a police pursuit through Palmerston, Casuarina and Darwin last night.
The pursuit commenced at approximately 10:45pm with police later successfully deploying tyre deflation devices and taking two males into custody at approximately 11:25pm.
The vehicle of interest was a red Holden Commodore with NT registration CA11OJ.
Anyone who witnessed the manner of driving of the Commodore is urged to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Both males, aged 24 and 32, have been charged with a number of traffic and drug offences including driving under the influence of drugs, driving unlicensed, driving in a dangerous manner, possession of a Schedule 1 drug (traffickable quantity), possess, use or carry a prohibited weapon, fail to obey direction of police officer and breach of bail.
