Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an aggravated assault which occurred in Alice Springs about 11.30pm last night.
A 34-year-old male was left unconscious after the assault outside a food premises on Todd Street.
The man was taken to Alice Springs hospital with serious head injuries.
Police urge anyone who has information which may assist with investigations, particularly anyone who recorded the incident on their mobile phone, to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
