Northern Territory Police are investigating a serious harm incident in the city overnight.
At about 12:30am, police received a report of a stabbing on Cavenagh Street, Darwin City. Upon arrival, crews located a male, aged 36, who had been stabbed in the stomach. Paramedics conveyed the victim to Royal Darwin Hospital in a critical condition, where he remains in the ICU.
A crime scene was declared, and the area was cordoned off. Major Crime detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
