Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a road rage incident that occurred yesterday in Jingili.
Shortly before 5:30pm, a white Nissan Navara and a white Ford Ranger Utility were travelling inbound on McMillians Road when they both stopped at a traffic light. The offender has exited his vehicle and approach the victim allegedly accusing him of cutting him off and hitting his vehicle.
The man has then allegedly assaulted the victim through the window before returning to his vehicle and driving off.
A 59-year-old man was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with significant injuries to his face.
Police were able to later locate the offender in Rosebery. A 19-year-old man was arrested without incident. He has since been charged with unlawfully cause serious harm.
The man is expected to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
