Serious Crime Squad are investigating an alleged assault that occurred in Palmerston on Friday, 31 January 2020.
At around 2:40pm, a 62-year-old woman was walking on Chung Wah Terrace onto Temple Terrace in Woodroffe.
The female was approached by three female offenders. One of the offenders struck the victim with a large stick multiple times, causing the victim to fall to the ground, before the offenders stole her handbag and fled the scene.
The three female offenders have been described of an indigenous appearance and in their early 20’s. The female offender who allegedly struck the victim had pink hair.
