Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to aggravated assaults which occurred at around 9:25pm last night.
Four women allegedly assaulted a 28-year-old woman outside Palms City Resort on The Esplanade. A 45-year-old man and 40-year-old woman who are unknown to the victim witnessed the incident and attempted to intervene. As a result, the four women assaulted the couple and took a mobile phone belonging to the 40-year-old.
The four women then left on foot and were arrested on Mitchell Street shortly after.
The women, aged 22, 27, 41 and 47, were each charged with three counts of aggravated assault this afternoon. They will appear in court at a later date.
