Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an incident that occurred in Woodroffe on Saturday night.
Between the hours of 10pm and 11pm, two people were engaged in a physical altercation outside a property on Altair Court. It is alleged that a man was assaulted with an edged weapon by his partner.
Police attended the scene and located the 21-year-old man with upper body injuries. He was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital for medical treatment. A 20-year-old woman is assisting police with their investigation.
