Police seek witnesses to boy stabbed in Mordialloc

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in Mordialloc last night.

Investigators have been told a boy was walking along Main Street and reached Pompei’s Landing park before being approached by five unknown youths about 2.30pm.

One of the youths made demands for the victim’s jacket and punched him in the head several times.

Another male then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim before all five fled south under the park tunnel, towards Park Street.

The 15-year-old boy was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The male offender who stabbed the victim is perceived as being Caucasian, approxiamtely 15-years-old, around 170cm tall, and was wearing a camoflauge jacket and black and white Oakland Raiders cap.

The second male is perceived as being Caucasian, approximately 15-years-old, around 185cm tall, with a thin build, and was wearing a white hooded top and black and red cap.

The third male is perceived as being Caucasian, was wearing dark clothing, and had a mask covering his face.

The female who attempted to take the victim’s jacket is perceived as being Caucasian with a thin build, a stomach piercing, long dyed purple and black hair and was wearing a white crop top.

The second female is perceived as being Caucasian, approxiamtely 15-years-old, with blonde hair and was wearing a grey hooded jumper and leggings.
