Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Craigieburn yesterday evening.
Investigators have been told two 17-year-olds were sitting at a bus stop on Central Park Avenue when three offenders attacked them about 7.55pm.
One of the victims was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries, while the other was transported with minor injuries.
Investigators believe the offenders are aged in their late teens to early 20s, with two of the offenders described as being of Pacific Islander in appearance and the other perceived as African.
