The Major Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Robinvale yesterday.
Two vehicles, a light blue Toyota Camry and a dark grey Ford Falcon collided on the Murray Valley Highway near the corner of Crete Road shortly before 5pm.
Two passengers from the Toyota Camry, a 70-year-old Mildura woman and 5-year-old Mildura girl died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Camry, a 36-year-old Mildura man, and a 3-year-old Mildura boy were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the Ford Falcon, a 64-year-old Swan Hill woman was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
