Police seek witnesses to Flinders Street assault

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance after a man was assaulted in Melbourne’s CBD earlier this month.

Investigators were told unknown offenders in three vehicles shouted to the victim and his friend on Flinders Street, before pulling up in front of them about 3.25am on Sunday, 3 July.

It is understood the offenders then got out of the vehicles, assaulted the victim, then fled the scene in their cars.

Police have released an image of four men who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
