Police seek witnesses to Kalkallo crash

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a possible road rage incident that resulted in a crash on the Hume Freeway this morning.

Investigators have been told a White 2016 Toyota Landcruiser and Blue 2003 Ford Fairmont sedan were travelling south on the Hume when the vehicles collided approaching the township of Kalkallo about 5.45am.

Luckily, neither of the drivers were injured as a result of the crash however both vehicles were extensively damaged.

The drivers, a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both from Wallan, have been spoken to by police who will be making further enquiries.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed, or who has dash-cam footage of the vehicles in the lead up to the collision to contact police.
