Police seek witnesses to Norlane incident

Police are appealing for public assistance after a car was damaged outside a bottle shop in Norlane last month.

Investigators have been told three males entered the bottle shop on Alkira Avenue, Norlane about 8.20pm on 14 September.

The trio approached a female shop attendant and demanded free alcohol. The request was refused and the men paid for a quantity of alcohol.

The men walked out of the store and began to circle the attendant’s vehicle parked outside before stabbing and puncturing a tyre.

The group got in a silver Volkswagen and drove off along Alkira Avenue.

Officers would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident or any drivers who may have dashcam footage in the area at the time.
