Fawkner Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating following a sexual assault at a Mickleham address in June, 2019.
Investigators have been told the victim, a 25-year-old Brunswick woman, and her friend, met up with two men at a nightclub on Johnstone Street in Brunswick on 2 June.
After leaving the nightclub, the victim, her friend and the two men travelled to an address in Fitzroy and then attended St Vincent’s Hospital after the victim’s friend suffered an unrelated matter.
The victim and one of the men left the hospital and travelled to a house in Mickleham where the victim has told investigators she was sexually assaulted.
The man is perceived to be of Indian Sub-Continental appearance with short dark hair.
Detectives have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
