Detectives are appealing for witnesses to a shooting in Boronia on Monday the 26 August.
Police have been told a number of rounds were fired at a Torresdale Drive residence about 10.20pm hitting the house and a car in the front yard.
A 49-year-old woman and two teenage boys were inside the residence and were unharmed.
Detectives would also like to speak to a man seen walking past the address around the time of the incident.
