Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Wodonga this morning.
A 38-year-old man was allegedly assaulted outside a Quirk Court address about 4.30am.
The Wodonga man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested a 35-year-old man and 29-year-old woman at a nearby address.
The Wodonga pair are currently in custody, assisting investigators with their enquiries.
