Police have seized multiple weapons following a search of home in the Camden area this week.
About 7.50am on Wednesday 13 December 2023, police executed a Firearm Prohibition Order Compliance Search at a residence on Westwood Court, Harrington Park.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command located multiple firearms, knifes, knuckle dusters and ammunition on the property. They have all been seized for forensic examination.
Following inquiries police arrested an 18-year-old man at Burwood Police Station yesterday (Thursday 14 December 2023).
He was charged with ten offences including:
- Two counts of possess unauthorised firearm
- Firearm found at premises subject to prohibition order
- Five counts of possess or use prohibited weapon without permit
- Use prohibited weapon contrary to prohibition order
- Possess, supply or make explosive for unlawful purpose
The man was refused bail to appear before Burwood Local Court today (Friday 15 December 2023).
