Police are investigating a sudden death at Gawler South.
Police and paramedics were called to a home in Seventh Street, Gawler South at midday today, Friday 15 October. They found the occupant, a 63-year-old woman, deceased inside the property.
Investigators are treating the woman’s death as suspicious. Major Crime detectives and crime scene investigators remain at the scene.
A 54-year-old Gawler South woman has been arrested for an assault which occurred at the premises last night.
The women are believed to be known to each other and this does not appear to be a random incident.
