Police are appealing for witnesses after fire destroyed a Rockhampton home yesterday afternoon.
Neighbours called emergency services to the scene after witnessing smoke coming from the house on Naughton Street, Wandal just before 4pm.
The residence became fully engulfed by flames before the blaze was brought under control.
The occupants of the home were away at the time of the fire.
A crime scene has been declared as investigations continue into the cause of the blaze.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the Naughton Street area at the time of the blaze or in recent weeks to come forward.
