Detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a 45-year-old woman following the death of a 50-year-old man in Fernvale overnight, 27 September.
Around 5:55pm, emergency services were called to Stoneywood Street after reports that a vehicle had struck a man.
A 50-year-old Fernvale man was located unresponsive and declared deceased at the scene.
A crime scene was declared, and a woman, known to the man, was taken into custody at the scene.
Following investigations police have charged a 45-year-old Fernvale woman with one count each of murder (domestic violence) and disqualified driving.
She has been remanded in custody to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court, tomorrow 29 September.
Investigations continue.
