Police have taken a 25-year-old male into custody in relation to a homicide that occurred at Hope Island today, March 11.
At approximately 2.20pm, police were called to a shopping centre carpark at Santa Barbara Road following reports a man had been seriously assaulted.
Emergency services attempted to revive the man; however, he was declared deceased at the scene.
A crime scene was declared, and investigations are continuing.
