Police have updated the emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to a bushfire burning at Gregory River (north of Childers).
This area is now bound by Cedars Road, the Burnett River, Onoprienkos Road and Newlands Road.
Residents within the exclusion zone are urged to follow the advice of emergency services on the ground.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
Childers Road remains closed in both directions and traffic diversions are in place.
