Police update 2: Puppies stolen in Mitchelton, QLD

Police from Ferny Grove have charged a second man in relation to the theft of two newborn puppies from a home in Mitchelton on March 3.

The four-week-old Maltese Shitzu cross pups were recovered by officers following two separate searches of Stafford residences later that week.

A 23-year-old man was charged with burglary and animal cruelty on March 8.

Yesterday detectives charged a 32-year old man with one count of burglary, receiving tainted property and two counts of fraud.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
