Police update 2: Shooting incident in Alexandra Hills, QLD

South Brisbane detectives have charged a second man over a shooting incident in Alexandra Hills on April 23.

A 29-year-old Acacia Ridge man appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court charged with armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and disqualified driving.

He was remanded in custody to re-appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on June 8.

The 27-yer-old man, previous charged, is due to re-appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on June 25.

South Brisbane detectives have charged a man over a shooting incident in Alexandra Hills yesterday afternoon.

Three men were inside a Cambridge Street address around 5pm when a 24-year-old man was shot in the stomach.

The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

A 27-year-old Cornubia man has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, armed robbery, dangerous conduct with a weapon, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and two counts each of deprivation of liberty and trespass.

He is expected to front the Cleveland Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
