Police investigating the suspicious death of a man on Palm Island on November 11 last year have charged a second man with murder.
Around 9am on November 11, a 64-year-old Palm Island man was located with a serious head injury at a Creek Road address. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 23-year-old Palm Island man was arrested today at 10.15am and charged with one count each of murder and armed robbery.
He has been refused bail and is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court tomorrow, February 18.
On November 12, an 18-year-old Palm Island man was charged with murder and robbery with violence whilst armed. He has been remanded in custody and is due to re-appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on August 10.
