A 30-year-old man has handed himself into police following an aggravated assault incident at a licensed premises in Alice Springs earlier this week.
It will be alleged the man assaulted a staff member and two patrons, after he was refused entry.
During the assault, the man is further alleged to have armed himself with a star picket and threatened the staff member and two patrons, and damaged items inside the property.
The man was subsequently arrested and charged with Aggravated assault, Assault Workers, Engage in violence conduct, Damage to property, Disorderly in public, Fail to leave licensed premises.
He was remanded in custody to appear before court today.
