Police update: Appeal for Information: Robbery at Annerley, QLD

Dutton Park detectives investigating additional attempted robbery offences at petrol stations in Brisbane’s south between June and July are appealing for assistance to locate those responsible.

Investigators believe the same man could be involved for both incidents and are appealing to the public for help to identify him, due to a distinctive walk.

On Monday, June 13 the man entered a petrol station on Ipswich Road at Annerley and demanded the contents of the cash register, leaving with the night’s takings.

On the most recent attempt shortly before 11.30pm on July 16, the man approached the night-counter of the store but was unsuccessful in obtaining any money.

No one was physically injured in these incidents.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have any dashcam footage or observed a person matching this description around the time of the incidents to come forward.
