Police update: Armed robbery charges in Allenstown, QLD

Rockhampton detectives have charged three teenagers over an alleged armed robbery at an Allenstown service station on Sunday, March 19.

It will be alleged at approximately 9.30pm, a male and female entered a Lower Dawson Road business where they stole quantity of items.

The pair allegedly left together in a white 2022 MG ZS, which was reported stolen from a Yeppoon home around 1am on Saturday, March 18.

The vehicle was located abandoned on Hempenstall Street around 5.30pm on March 20.

Following investigations, a 17-year-old boy was taken into custody at Wandal on Wednesday, March 22, he has been charged with a total of 8 property crime related offences, including one count of robbery while armed.

A 17-year-old Frenchville boy was taken into custody at Rockhampton City yesterday, March 23, and has been charged with a total of 15 property crime related offences, including one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and two armed robberies.

A 15-year-old Gracemere girl was located at Rockhampton City on Thursday morning and has been charged with 15 property offences, including one count of robbery while armed.
