Arson Squad detectives are have charged a person as part of their ongoing investigation into a fire at a commercial business premises located on Wanneroo Road, Balcatta.
It is alleged around 4.20am on Monday 11 October 2021, the man forced entry into the tattoo parlour and ignited a liquid accelerant he brought with him.
The fire involved the entire structure and contents of the premises and the damage cost is estimated at $750,000.
The 18-year-old man from Seville Grove has been charged with:-
• Criminal Damage by Fire;
• Aggravated Burglary and Commit; and
• Steal Motor Vehicle.
He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 19 November 2021.
