A 47-year-old police officer was arrested yesterday morning in Darwin and has since been charged with:
- Unlawfully access data
- Disclose confidential information
- Destruction of evidence
- Conspiracy to pervert course of justice
- Obtain benefit by deception
- Possess fireworks
- Possess prohibited weapons
- Manufacture prohibited weapons
- Fail to meet storage requirements
- Possess unregistered firearm
- Interfere with protected wildlife
- Stealing
He was bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 22 September 2022.
He has been suspended without pay.
The matter is under investigation by Crime Command.
