Police update: Charges – Vehicle fire in Katherine

Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to a vehicle fire in Katherine this week.

Members from the Katherine Criminal Investigations Branch allege the 30-year-old set fire to a vehicle in Katherine South, which subsequently spread to another vehicle parked alongside.

He has been charged with two counts of arson. He was remanded to appear in Katherine Local Court on 2 December 2021
