Both men have now checked into the Alice Springs Quarantine facility and infringement notices have been issued for failing to abide by the CHO directions.
Incident Controller Acting Commander Lauren Hill said, “These directions are in place to ensure our communities safety, especially our most vulnerable.
“If you are unaware of the current requirements for travel please visit https://coronavirus.nt.gov.au/ and remember to follow the directions of members at border checkpoints.”
