A man and a woman have died following a domestic-violence related stabbing in Sydney’s west today.
Just before 12.45pm (Saturday 30 May 2020), emergency services were called to a home on Tongariro Terrace, Bidwill, following reports of a stabbing.
Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command attended and found a 22-year-old woman outside the home with multiple stab wounds.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition, however, she has since died.
A 22-year-old man, who is known to the woman, was found inside the home with stab wounds to his chest. He died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established which is continuing to be examined by specialist forensic police.
Detectives have commenced an investigation; however, they are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
