Police Update: Fatal Crash Golden Grove

A woman has died following a crash at Golden Grove this afternoon.

About 12.10pm today (Wednesday 28 February), emergency services were called to the intersection of Atlantis Drive and The Grove Way after reports a red/maroon Ford Territory that had been travelling south collided with a Hyundai and a Corolla.

Sadly the driver of the Hyundai, a 32-year-old Blair Athol, died at the scene.

The driver of the Ford, a 61-year-old Hillbank man, was conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Corolla, a 42-year-old Golden Grove woman, was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating if the red Ford Territory was involved in a rear-ender hit and run crash on The Grove Way a short time before the fatal crash.

The intersection of Atlantis Drive and The Grove Way is completely blocked while Major Crash Investigators examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone with dash-cam footage of the red/maroon Ford Territory travelling south on The Grove Way around 12.10pm.
