A man has been charged following investigations into a woman’s death in a motorcycle crash in Port Douglas last night, Wednesday March 2.
The pair were thrown from the bike after allegedly failing to navigate a corner.
The 27-year-old Whitfield woman sustained critical injuries and later died in hospital.
A 31-year-old Port Douglas man has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death while affected by an intoxicating substance, drink driving and unlicensed driving.
He was bailed appear to appear in the Mossman Magistrates Court on March 23.
