Police have thanked the community for their assistance in helping safely reunite a child with his family in Townsville this morning, November 7.
Around 6pm last night, a member of the public located a four-year-old boy near Victoria Bridge.
Police were able to locate the child’s parents this morning and the child is safe and well.
The Child Protection Investigation Unit is investigating.
