Four people have been charged with murder following the death of a man in Laidley on Monday evening.
Police were called to a Patrick Street house around 9.50pm on June 20 after where a man was located with a number of critical injuries. The 48-year-old man died at the scene.
It is alleged a fire was also deliberately lit inside the home. The blaze was extinguished by emergency crews a short time later.
Two 19-year-old women from Laidley, a 19-year-old Caboolture man and a 24-year-old College View man were all arrested last night and charged with one count each of murder, attempted murder and arson.
The Caboolture man is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court today whilst the remaining three will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court.
