Police update: Homicide investigation at Pimpama, QLD

Police are appealing for any dashcam vision to assist them in their investigation into the shooting death of 47-year-old Shane Bowden.

Investigators are piecing together a timeline of events and are seeking public assistance to fully understand the circumstances leading up to the death.

Detectives are keen to obtain any vision from Monday October 5 to Monday October 12, 2020 that was filmed along Kopps Road at Oxenford or Yawalpah Road at Pimpama.

Around 12.10am on Monday October 12 police were called to an address in Cox Rd at Pimpama following reports of a man shot in the driveway of a residence.

An Incident Command Centre has since been set up with teams of detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch with assistance from Taskforce Maxima and the Homicide Investigation Unit.

Detective Superintendent Brendan Smith said police are keen for any dashcam vision or any information from the public that will help us to solve this crime.
