Northern Territory Police have charged a man in relation to an Indecent Assault in East Arnhem on 24 October.
Following investigations by the Child Abuse Taskforce, members from the Sex Crimes Division attended a remote community yesterday and arrested a 31-year-old man for the indecent assault of a child known to him.
The man has been charged with:
- Indecent dealing with a child under 10 years.
He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court on 4 November.
In the interests of protecting the privacy of the victim and family, no further details will be provided.
