Police update: Kallangur traffic crash

A man has been charged following investigations into a serious traffic crash at Kallangur on Sunday.

The 31-year-old North Lakes man has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death or grievous bodily harm and

He will appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court today.

A 46-year-old Murrumba Downs woman remains in a stable condition and 51-year-old Kallangur man, one of two people allegedly struck by the vehicle while walking their dog, remains in a critical condition.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn’t yet come forward, or has relevant dashcam footage, to contact them (details below).
