Midland Detectives have charged a woman in relation to a hit and run crash in Midland on Sunday 26 April 2020.
About 6.30am the victim, a woman in her 20’s, and a friend were walking on the footpath adjacent to Ferguson Street. A blue sedan travelled north on Ferguson Street and it is alleged the vehicle mounted the curb and drove on the footpath before striking the victim.
The woman was conveyed by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital with a serious leg injury.
The blue sedan was located on a vacant block on Wellaton Street, Midland around 8:00pm the same day.
Yesterday, Wednesday 13 May 2020, Midland Detectives arrested and charged a 20-year-old woman from Clarkson, who is known to the victim, with ‘With Intent to do Grievous Bodily Harm Does Grievous Bodily Harm to Another’.
She was refused bail and is due to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court today, Thursday 14 May 2020.
