Police update: Serious traffic crash at Coopers Plains, QLD

Police have released an image of a motorbike rider who may be able to assist after a serious traffic crash at Coopers Plains yesterday evening.

Just before 6pm a blue Nissan 200SX was travelling west along Boundary Road, when the driver lost control of the car and collided with a power pole.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are concerned for the motorcyclist’s welfare who was seen in the area around the same time and are urging them to contact police.

The 37-year-old driver of the 200SX from Rochedale South is recovering from critical injuries in the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Again, if anyone has any further vision which may assist in the investigation, they too are encouraged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
