Police update: Serious traffic crash at Margate

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a serious traffic crash at the intersection of Dover Road at around 7.15pm on January 1, involving a motorcycle and four-wheel-drive.

Officers are particularly asking drivers with dashcam vision or witnesses who were in the Peninsula area between 3pm and 7.30pm or if you witnessed the motorcycle pictured below, to come forward.


As a result of the crash, a 32-year-old man and four-year-old boy were taken to hospital, both remain in a critical condition.

The female driver of the four-wheel drive was not physically injured.
